My History



Born in Trieste, lives and works in Rome.

Started her artistic career in 1976 with Enrico Crispolti.

Has taken part in the major international exhibitions: Lausanne Biennale (1985), International Graz Symposium (1987, 1994, 2003 and 2009), Lodz Triennale (1988 and 1994), Kyoto Triennale (1994), Chieri Biennale (1998 and 2004), Miniartextil, Como, installation section (1998), and video (1999 and 2007), - International Fiber Art Triennale – La Fibra Sensibile, Italia , Tournai, Belgium (2008), co-curator for the two sessions of Off Loom in Rome (2000 and 2015), Spoleto International Festival (2015 and 2017)

Is member of the Le Arti Tessili Scientific Committee, Montereale Valcellina for the International Valcellina Award.

Participates in the European Textile Network.
Taught weaving for 22 years at School of Ornamental Arts of the Town of Rome, National Institute of Restoration, and worked as an expert for 15 years at National Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions. Presently teaches at International Fashion Academy Koefia, Rome, where she is also in charge of international contacts.

In 1992 founded the Tapisserie Jeune Group, Rome.
